Hotel Villa Linneo - Roma

A fabulous place to stay. Close to public transport into Rome cbd. Great restaurants within an easy 15 minute walk. Room was air-conditioned, and mini-bar prices were reasonable. The shady pat area is a great place to spend a hot afternoon.

Street parking can be a problem. Stay away from blue lines -pay hourly rate. Look for the white line sections - they're free!

In a nice neighbourhood, quite and comfortable place. The room was nice and clean. The staff is ok. Wireless.

We booked a Double Superior Room. It said that it has a jacuzzi. We asked for seperate beds. We didn't get either. They said that rooms don't have a jacuzzi and that it was a mistake. In fact, we booked a Superior Room, but it seems we got the Standard in the end (that is cheaper, but in the end we paid the price for Superior). We were very disappointed. Breakfast is good, but everything is based on sugar and some people don't like that.

The hotel was very beautiful with a great garden that we used every night for drinking wine and just relaxing. The bathtub in the room was also excellent.

There was no public transport stops nearby, so we had to use taxis too often.

The hotel personnel was very nice. Every time we met, they seemed to be really glad to see us. And they were really trying to help us from their heart, although not always managed, because of some language barrier. Gautier. The villa itself is located in green area of big exclusive houses, neighbouring Villa Borghese. The air it was so thick of aroma from flowers, bushes and trees, that one could almost bite it. And it was nice to get away from noisy tourist places to have a good sleep at night. The Superior Room was spacios, had designer's decoration and sanitary fixtures. And, of course, a bathtub in the room looks very elegant. Air condition was very quiet and effective. The view from our room was astonishing.

I would of liked wider selection of "salty" breakfast dishes, including warm ones (at least scrambled eggs or omlette). There was not even cheese or ham (nor bread) to make sandwiches. That was odd for me. Maybe only for me, as I heard this kind of breakfast choise is quite normal for italian hotels. On the other hand there was wery nice choice of fresh baked (still warm) delicious cakes, croissant and cookies for sweet lowers. And, to be honest, I even started to like muesli with dried raspberries (they offer a good variety of quality muesli) and yogurt (there was no milk). Also latte macchiato was very tasty, especially if sipped in breezy cool morning garden.

Hotel is wonderfully quiet and is very stylish.

We only stayed for one night but found the Owner to be very helpful although as we spoke almost no Italian it proved to be interesting to communicate. The overall layout of the hotel and its peaceful location were very good and we would definitely stay here again. It was a small walk to the nearest Metro station near the Villa Borghese Park but was a pleasant one. The location and peace alone in Rome makes this a good place to stay.

Would have preferred something a little closer to the main Transport hub which is not the hotel or Owner's fault, but then you would lose the peaceful and pleasant location as Rome is a very busy city.

Inconvenient location, lack of English spoken, breakfast like afternoon tea with cakes, aircondiioning bad, bed uncomfortablr, tatty bath towel, soap inadeqate, unable to relax in lounge because it acted as the breakfast room. Nice home thats all

Too expensive for what you got

Het is een leuk kleinschalig romantisch ingericht hotel (9 kamers) voor mensen die van van rust houden en tegelijkertijd waarde hechten aan een comfortabele kamer en een heerlijk niet standaard ontbijt. Er is oog voor detail en je voelt je er heerlijk thuis. De tuin is gezellig ingericht waar je eventueel heerlijk je ontbijt kunt gebruiken of een kopje koffie/thee kunt drinken. Het hotel ligt lekker centraal en slechts 20 minuten lopen naar de Piazza del Popolo en kun je Rome per voet verkennen.

This hotel was very quiet and nice to make a citytrip. It's outside the centre and a 10 minutes walk to the start of the shopping street. The staff is very friendly. Great small hotel (only 9 rooms) and very good breakfast. I will book it again when visiting Rome.

Klein hotel in een grote villa in een rustige buurt maar toch dicht bij het centrum. Doet huiselijk aan. Dit hotel zal ik zeker bij vrienden aanbevelen die Rome willen bezoeken.

Gastvrijheid van t personeel is top. Mooie kamers en heerlijk rustig. Aanrader!

De ligging- die wij speciaal uitgekozen hadden ivm bezoek aan Galleria Borghese. De rustige buurt en de tuin van het hotel. Smaakvol interieur, comfortabele kamer en het uitgebreide ontbijt.

Geen tegenvaller voor ons maar goed om te weten voor anderen: vanuit de stad is het een eind lopen en er is weinig openbaar vervoer.

Nous avons été très bien reçues, les gens de l'hôtel ayant été charmants tout au long du séjour. La chambre était magnifique avec une grande baignoire dans la chambre (en plus de la douche dans la salle de bain), idéale pour se délasser après toute une journée de visites! Il y a un petit jardin devant l'hôtel, parfait pour prendre le frais!! On est donc tout à fait au calme ce qui est non nègligeable après la cohue du centre ville...

Il est vrai que l'hôtel se trouve assez éloigné du centre ville. Il y a quand même des bus qui passent a proximité, et qui y emmènent en 10 minutes. Mais disons qu'il est plus difficile de faire des allers retours dans la journée!

Ein geschmackvoll renoviertes kleines Hotel in einer ruhigen Gegend nördlich der Villa Borghese. Man fühlt sich wie bei einer alten aristokratischen italienischen Familie beherbergt. Freundliches, zuvorkommendes Personal, gutes Frühstück. Das Stadtzentrum mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel gut erreichbar. Gerne würde ich das Hotel wieder buchen.
